All cartridges in the Cusis range feature the same core moving coil technology. At the center lies a samarium-cobalt magnet paired with pure iron, delivering a consistently stable magnetic field essential for accurate performance. The internal coils are precisely wound using ultra-fine 30μ pure copper wire onto a lightweight armature, which is supported by a custom-designed damper.
This specialized damper provides optimal support for the stylus, ensuring precise groove tracking. Each component—coil count, output level, and body material—has been carefully fine-tuned to match the stylus design, delivering the highest audio fidelity possible.
To minimize unwanted vibrations and resonance, the cartridge features a rigid aluminum chassis that also serves as a vibration-absorbing base. Additionally, the body shape and surface textures are engineered to suppress resonance further, resulting in outstanding detail retrieval and a remarkably neutral sound profile.
